The Short Version

Every roof Big Dog Roofing installs is backed by a 15-year craftsmanship warranty. If our workmanship fails, we come back and make it right. No charge. No runaround.

What's Covered

  • Workmanship on roofing work performed by Big Dog Roofing — shingle and metal panel installation, flashing, underlayment, ventilation, drip edge, and sealing.
  • Leaks caused by an installation error on work we performed.
  • Repair of the affected workmanship, at no cost to you.

How Long It Lasts

15 years from the date we complete your project. Coverage applies to the property where the work was done.

What's Not Covered

Straight answers here too. The craftsmanship warranty does not cover:

  • Storm damage. Hail, wind, lightning, fallen trees or debris. That's an insurance claim — and we'll help you document it.
  • Material or product defects. Shingles and materials carry the manufacturer's own product warranty, which is separate from our workmanship coverage. Ask us for the warranty documents for the specific products on your roof.
  • Work we didn't do. Later repairs, additions, satellite or solar mounts, or work by other trades.
  • Damage after installation. Foot traffic, alterations, or neglect — like clogged gutters left unaddressed.
  • Structural issues. Building movement or settling, and pre-existing conditions in decking or framing we didn't replace.
  • Normal weathering. Cosmetic color change and ordinary wear over time.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Call 260.999.0347 or email team@bigdogroofing.org.
  2. Give us the property address and what you're seeing.
  3. We inspect it, tell you exactly what's going on, and fix covered workmanship issues at no charge.

There is never a fee to have us look at a warranty concern on a roof we installed.

The Fine Print
